Prior to forming Halpern Advisory, Andy served as Head of Finance, Accounting and Strategic Analytics for a leading Southeast-based US retailer. Andy began his career as a Big-4 CPA where he advised public, private and strategic clients on dozens of mergers and acquisition transactions.

Under Halpern Advisory, Andy serves as the principal financial advisor on a variety of buy-side, sell-side, and growth capital transactions across varying industries. He also lends his experience in a CFO-to-go capacity for clients helping to streamline reporting, create meaningful financial insights, and drive profitable growth.

When he’s not helping clients make decisions, you’ll likely find Andy spending time outside with his wife Sophie and their Australian shepherd Alfie. Additionally, a self-proclaimed “jock-nerd” and proud alumni of the University of Georgia, you have a good chance of seeing Andy on the basketball court or cheering on 3rd down dressed in red and black.
